RTAI Trip to Galway, October 2024

Salthill Galway was the venue for our National RTAI Trip this year. The promenade looked splendid in the sunshine of an Indian summer, and the staff at the Galway Bay Hotel were fabulous hosts. We poured in from all corners of Ireland. The expansive foyer lent itself to sitting around and catching up with the 94 old friends (and new) who travelled to Galway. As if by serendipity, while standing in line one morning for breakfast, RTAI former president Mary Kyne met up with a college peer whom she hadn’t met for 60 years. There were many such connections over the four days.
