Pension Increase Paid

The revised salary scales for teachers agreed in Building Momentum have been reflected in the payment of 12 October, 2023. These scales include the increase of 1.5% from 1^st October 2023.

As retired teachers continue to retain the principle of parity, where pensions increase in line with the uplifts agreed for working teachers, this increase applies to all retired teachers with effect from the same date. This uplift is reflected in the first full pension payment on October 12^th. Members should also take this opportunity to inspect their pension payslips to ensure all payments and deductions are correct.
