Joining RTAI
You should normally receive an Application Form to join RTAI with other documentation you receive from the DES around the time you retire. This will include your new PENSION PAYROLL NUMBER which should be quoted at all times in communication with this office or with the Department. Should you not, for any reason, receive your application form or mislay it you can download it here, or Leagan Gaeilge if you prefer. Complete the form and return to the National Secretary. These files are in pdf format and you will need Acrobat Reader in order to open them. If you don't already have Adobe Reader on your computer, click on the red image below to download it for free.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT JOIN THE ASSOCIATION WITHOUT YOUR NEW PENSION PAYROLL NUMBER, SO YOU SHOULD WAIT UNTIL THIS IS RECEIVED FROM THE DEPARTMENT.
The Pension Payroll Number then, is to the left of your name inside the pension payslip or on the particulars you receive from the Department around the time of retirement.
A
short
period will elapse before registration becomes operative and
check-off commences from your fortnightly payment.
If there is undue delay for some reason – get in
touch with the office.
