Executive
The National Executive
Committee (N.E.C.)
of the Retired Teachers'
Association of Ireland
(R.T.A.I.)
has twelve members, elected at
National Annual General Meeting
(N.A.G.M.)
each year. Members hold
office for one year and are re-electable.
The National Executive
Committee works with the National Secretary to
conduct the affairs of the Association between Annual General Meetings.
It meets routinely four times a year generally in
Dublin, and at other times if a matter of urgency
arises, or is likely to arise.

Strong bonds exist between the INTO and the RTAI, and
the National Secretary liaises frequently with INTO Officials on matters
of mutual interest. He
